Steel & Mixed Media
The mixed media steel and stone pieces were seminal pieces in what would become the basis for future series. The steel forms are hollow with an internal armature. Paper patterns were used to map out the plates that are attached to the surface. The armature structure and the paper pattern technique were used in developing future work. The use of two mediums would also be used in later work.
